In 1998, the first government-authenticated test tube baby in Nigeria was born at this hospital through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).
Nigeria’s first IVF twins, triplets and children from frozen embryos were subsequently born here.
Over 5,000 IVF babies have been delivered at Nisa Premier Hospital to date.
Accredited by Medical International as the sole provider of In Vitro Maturation (IVM), a special fertility option aimed at reducing trauma and cost, in Africa.

When to see a doctor
When to seek help can depend on your age. Up to age 35, most doctors recommend trying to get pregnant for at least a year before testing or treatment. If you’re between 35 and 40, discuss your concerns after six months of trying. If you’re older than 40, testing or treatment may begin right away.
Seek earlier guidance for known fertility problems, irregular or painful periods, pelvic inflammatory disease, repeated miscarriages, prior cancer treatment, endometriosis, or male sexual-health concerns.
